McDonough Ranch is a team of folks who'd rather spend their weekends in the wilderness. Whether you're calling is surfing waves on the coast, or chasing sunsets down south, we want to embody those feelings and represent everyone that lives life on the go.

From surfers to sunsets, cowboys to corn fields. We encourage everyone to chase life outside. You're in for quite an adventure.

The original acres of the ranch belonged to Mr. and Mrs. Mcdonough. Ryan McDonough was from Iowa. He joined his brothers for a family business when he and his wife moved from Texas. Mrs. McDonough was born and raised in California and is still to this day in love with Iowa.

This ranch was purchased back in 1980 by a family who later on sold it to the McDonough’s in 2020. They had fallen in love with the property and turned it into a ranch using Ryan’s family owned brand. They have since infused the property with a passion and enthusiasm making it what it is today.

Ryan passed in 2023 after battling cancer. His wife and two kids live on the ranch still to this day continuing on with Ryan and his wife’s goals and dreams of the ranch.
